Rye on the Rocks Spot Guide

Rye on the Rocks can get really crowded when the waves get over waist-high. It’s a primarily left-hand break that can handle larger swells better than other spots in the area. You can surf the rocky point break at Rye on the Rocks about 100-200 ft offshore, but beware of the unforgiving rocky seafloor. A southeast swell on a low tide may garner a steep wave that can get hollow under the right conditions. Best at high tide.
