Kennebunk Beach Spot Guide

The line up at Kennebunk Beach is usually crowded if the conditions are working since it’s one of the only surf spots in town. It’s a fairly sheltered south-facing break so while other spots are blown out, Kennebunk Beach can offer some semi-clean rides. The sandbars make for right and left shoulders that break best over 3 ft at lower tides. Most waves are from NE-E groundswell and best conditions with winds from the N-NW. Summer parking is permitted only for residents, but winter conditions offer the best surf anyway.
