Higgens Beach Spot Guide

Higgins Beach is an exposed beach break with a long sandbar that is well protected from northern winds. SE or South swells that create nice peaking waves. Chest to double overhead surf on good days. During the summers, Higgins Beach is closed to surfers from 10 am to 5 pm. It is the most consistent surf spot in the area so it can get crowded. Towards the south end of the beach, it gets rockier and there are submerged rocks under the water at higher tides.
