Cardiff Spot Guide

Cardiff surf offers consistent reef breaking spots that work best in the winter. The reef is about a quarter of a mile long and produces a relatively slow, mushy wave. Cardiff surf works the best at lower tides. The reef break can get really good on a big winter swell. If you paddle north of the reef you’ll find Suckouts. There’s a left and a right at Suckouts and the small take off point will be nice and crowded if it’s good.
