The Rock- Costa Azul Spot Guide

The Rock or La Roca in Spanish is the Costa Azul surf break between Zippers and Old Man’s. It’s a mostly right reef break that you can find at the large rock outcropping, directly below the viewpoint. It gets really rocky at low tides. On a good day, the wave will be up to 100 yards long. The Costa Azul shore has the most famous spots in Cabo, possibly in all of Mexico. It will always be crowded. If you are looking for an open ocean, serene surf session, look elsewhere.
