Huntington Beach Pier Spot Guide

Huntington Beach Pier is Orange County’s most famous surf spot. Huntington Beach is known as Surf City and it’s a mecca of Southern California beach culture and home to crowded beaches and endless surf contests. Although there are surf breaks up and down the beach, Huntington Beach Pier is usually the most crowded. The pier has reliable surf on both sides and is best at medium tide. The surf break on the north side can handle large winter swells that can bring a long, peeling right-hand wave toward the pier.
