Sandy Hook Spot Guide

Sandy Hook is at the northernmost tip of New Jersey and one of the area’s only classic point break. There are other surf producing jetties in the area and good sandbars create hollow beach breaking waves. The Cove at Sandy Hook is at the 3rd jetty at Sandy Hook Gateway National Recreational Area. It faces northeast and creates mainly right-hand waves is at its best with any on a bigger south swell. For larger surf head to Jenkinson’s on the south side of Manasquan River Inlet.
